The Alpha course, Banbury

New for 2017 – the Alpha course at Caffe Nero, Banbury

The Alpha course is a great way to check out the Christian faith in a friendly and relaxed environment.

It’s free and open to everyone. Spread over 8 weeks it’s ideal if you want to find out about Jesus or are thinking about baptism or confirmation. Every week a short talk looks at a theme such as Who is Jesus?  Is there more to life than this?  How and why to pray? and How does God guide us?  You don’t have to be a church person to join in – and you don’t have to know the Bible.

The talks are designed to inspire conversation and the chance to share our thoughts and ideas with one another. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s an opportunity to explore, ask questions and contribute your own perspective in a friendly and open environment.

There’ll be great food and coffee available, great company and great fun. Come to as many of the sessions as you can. There’s no need to book. Bring your friends too – all are welcome!

The Alpha course, led by Philip, starts 6pm Sunday 15th January 2017 through to Sunday 5th March – at Caffe Nero, 95 High Street, Banbury.
