Closing Gala Concert

With specially-assembled choirs of children and adults from the local area, we celebrate the conclusion of Festival 200. 

A diverse programme of music guarantees an enjoyable evening for all ages, including: 

• C. Hubert H. Parry’s triumphant church anthem Hear my words, ye people 
• Gospel favourites such as Swing low, sweet chariot, Down by the Riverside, and O Happy Day 
• Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo – the ever-popular jazz cantata by Michael Flanders and Joseph Horowitz 

The musical director and animateur for the evening will be Joe Cummings, director of award-winning Voices Across Time.
