Banbury Business & Arts 'Colours of Banbury' Origami Crane Arts Project 2022, has joined St Mary's Festival 200 to create a suspended installation in the church to coincide with the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. The installation will be made up of 3000 coloured paper cranes made by individuals, businesses and local organisations. St Mary’s ‘Creating Space’ sessions in March and April 2022 will host origami crane paper folding, as well as other host venues.
Free admission to the workshops and final exhibition. All proceeds from donations go to St Mary’s Church (check for opening times).
