There might be icy Arctic blasts blowing outside, but inside St Mary's Church this afternoon, there were definitely signs of spring at the latest art workshop run by Tudor Hall School as part of the programme for Arts @ Banbury St Mary. Head of Art, Sheila Craske, and 6 of her A' level art students led a wonderfully creative afternoon as they encouraged over 20 people to produce stunning canvas bags and colourful wrapping paper, using animal and plant printing blocks to herald the arrival of spring. The artwork was beautiful, the atmosphere was buzzing and everyone enjoyed the afternoon enormously. The next art workshop will be on the afternoon of Saturday 10th June, so put the date in your diary now!
