For Holy Week and Easter we offer a wide range of services and events, from quiet, meditative times of reflection, to worship services and a live music concert. All are welcome to as much or as little as you are able

Monday to Saturday 7.30am Morning Prayer for 30 minutes

Monday to Thursday 1.15pm Lunchtime prayer with short reflection for 30 minutes

Monday to Wednesday 6pm  Reflection

Maundy Thursday

7.30am Morning Prayer

10.30am Communion and coffee

1.15pm Lunchtime prayer

6pm Seder meal in the Centre

8pm Breaking Bread Celtic style Communion and foot washing. The church will be open to midnight for those who wish to stay…..

Good Friday

7.30am Morning Prayer

10.30am ecumenical walk of witness

12 to 3pm meditations and vigil at the Cross

4pm Tea Time Concert  – Vivaldi and Pergolesi, with refreshments

7pm URC led service

9pm Tenebrae Service of Shadows

Saturday  7.30am Morning Prayer for 30 minutes

Easter Sunday

8.00am Holy Communion

9.30am Easter Day Celebration for all ages

11.15am URC Communion service

All this week a bare cross will stand at the front of the churchyard as a reminder of the events of Holy Week leading up to Easter. On Easter Day we’ll decorate the cross with flowers in celebration of Jesus’ resurrection. Bring a flower to add to the cross.
